In accordance with the wishes of many members, effective January 1, 2016 all Readium Foundation membership dues and all SDK license annual Extended License Coverage fees, will be due and invoiced on a calendar-year basis, rather than on an annual basis from the date of joining/licensing.
This change will help us both simplify operations and bookkeeping, as well as better facilitate strategic planning by giving more financial visibility an annual basis. If you would have been invoiced during Q1 for dues or license fees, then you will simply receive an invoice shortly of the annual amount, that will cover you through December 31, 2016. If you were already invoiced for 2016 dues or extended license coverage in Q4 2015, and have paid any outstanding balance by January 31, 2016, then your membership and/or license fees will be also covered until December 31, 2016. If you would under our previous arrangement have been invoiced after March 31 2016, you will receive an invoice shortly that pro-rates your amount due. In the future, all invoicing will be on a calendar-year basis. New members and new licensees will have their first-year dues/fees pro-rated.
We would greatly appreciate your giving prompt attention to paying any outstanding invoices due to Readium Foundation.
In addition, the Board has decided to adjust the annual membership fees, and extended license coverage fees. The current membership dues structure, effective January 1, 2016 is:
